This simple bridge carries the BNSF mainline over 3rd Street in Fort Scott.
The bridge is composed of a trio of I-Beam spans, and carries double tracks.
Reportedly built in 1925, the bridge contains both steel and concrete substructures. The steel piers were likely built later to replace a wooden type pier.
